The challenge

First-year students often faced frustration in the lab, frequently asking, “Am I doing this right?” Many had no idea how to use the lab equipment, which increased their uncertainty. They struggled to establish the research goal – often only realizing it after completing the practical work.

The transformation

By implementing LabBuddy, all essential information, including equipment manuals and procedural instructions, was structured and easily accessible in one place.

The final result

Instead of feeling lost, the students knew what to do, how to get started, and how to use the necessary equipment. They had a clear overview, established the research goal and its questions. As a result, they worked more independently and stayed focused.
