“LabBuddy inspires students for research-based learning”

The challenge

The challenge we faced was how to link two seemingly separate subject areas. Students often experience the fields of biomedical science in isolation, confined to separate laboratories. This course demonstrates the practical interdisciplinarity of molecular pathology.

The transformation

Through LabBuddy, students were interactively introduced to molecular pathological processes. It provides a hands-on, multimodal learning environment that enhances understanding of complex topics through modern technology.

The final result

With the use of LabBuddy the course covers two key disciplines of biomedical science: histology and molecular biology. It serves as a bridge between these fields, reflecting the methodological integration found in clinical molecular pathology.
