The Adaptive Case can be used for formative assessment. In other words, students can check whether they have achieved specific learning outcomes, and whether they are able to answer corresponding exam-level questions.
With the Adaptive Case, students work independently and at their own pace toward clearly defined learning goals, while receiving continuous support and guidance from LabBuddy.
Upon completion the student has learned specific skills and can apply them in a practical lab session. This gives the student confidence and saves the teacher time by eliminating the need to provide additional instruction.
